Dive into the life a Four-Time F1 World Champion for Oracle Red Bull Racing from Bangkok, Thailand.
The Born-To-Be Driver Mantra
Born to a former Thai F1 Driver father and former German karting racer mother, anyone else would come to realization that Louan Mateo is destined to be on a racetrack. At the age of 2, Louan started attending his father's races and garage as part of curiosity as a child. Country after country, meeting the media, consuming the smoke of what he thought was just for fun will shape his future. He did not automatically assume that he would bear the legacy of Ratchasakuns in motorsports as he was more into contemporary art. As the only child of the married racer couple, who would give him the chance to? The young man has always tried to be different but it seemed like his fate was already written on the stars before he even got a chance to see how it shines for him.Louan's childhood uprbringing was not that pleasant compared to most children of his age. He would be training for karting, which he started at the age of 4 and has not stopped racing ever since. If most kids are out in the playground, playing hide and sick, the 4-year old Louan would be preparing for his reaction test, endurance, and muscle development. His father admitted that he became hard on Louan to secure his top sport in this tight sport that not everyone has the privilege to come into.
